Our approach.

Research led.

Academics and educational institutions have been pioneering sustainable literacy, design solutions and innovative approaches to sustainable business and consumption for many years. By building on existing research and working with academic leaders we will ensure we have a robust system.

Radical collaboration.

Traditionally fashion brands retailed their competitive advantage by not sharing information about their supply chain or business approach, but the fashion industry of tomorrow is one build on radical collaboration. Now creativity, innovation and customer experience need to be the focus of a brands competitive edge. It is not our intention to replace existing standards, certifications or businesses working in this space, but bring them together for our collective benefit.

Innovation & data driven.

By working with leading technology, data partners and sustainability experts we are able to create an agile innovation-led approach to solving a complex problem. Data will be created, tracked and updated using blockchain and machine learning. We will analyse and seek to understand patterns within the data that in time can inform continuous system improvement.

Not-for-profit.

As a not-for-profit initiative we do not drive revenue from promoting or selling products via affiliate links or charge to use the system, both of which are industry standard practice.  We fund operational costs and system maintenance via fundraising and membership. Our aim is to create a neutral and holistic system that can also act as a source of collective intelligence. Only with this model can we ensure collaboration over competition and purpose over profit.

Policy and legislation.

Policy and legislation are an affective tool ensure that change is longterm and systemic. Supported by leading fashion policy experts we are able to keep up to date fashion's policy horizon.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
